Trunki - as seen on Dragon's Den
A Picklist by ToysEditor. Created 27th August 2009
After getting a slating on BBCs Dragon's Den, Trunki has gone from strength to strength. selling hundreds of thousands of their ride on suitcases for kids.Theo Paphitis ridiculed the idea - if memory serves me correctly he sat on it and managed to break it. But he is slightly heavier than the average 3 year old!Trunki's have integrated wheels, steering grips and a contoured saddle. They're also sized as hand luggage so you can take them on a plane. In June I was in Nice airport and saw a little guy speeding around on his Trunki - an ideal way to keep kids entertained during long airport waits, but without having to take loads of extra toys.I also found out a couple of weeks ago that Trunki's creator Rob Law has the company based in our home City of Bristol! Just 2 minutes down the road from our old offices in fact.Available in various designs (inc. Terrance, Trixie and Tipu) your little ones are bound to love them! Get them from John Lewis, with free delivery or Firebox.com.The brand are also currently working on new products in the range, and have already released fun travel head rests, shown below.Email this List
