If you haven't heard the story behind Gormiti, then here it is... legend has it that once upon a time, the island of Gorm was lived on by peaceful people. The nature loving tribe lived under the guidance of the one they called "The Old Sage", who was the keeper of secrets and magic.However, one miserable day, Fire Mountain - the volcano they lived on - exploded, destroying their lush habitat with ash! From this ash rose strange creatures, which were moulded from the extreme heat of the lava and who were led by Magmion, Lord of Magma. The beings were called the "Lords of Magma" and the nasty evil Magmion craved the souls of the poor defenseless Gormiti!The prediction the Gormiti had always been told had come true - "from the deep, dangerous creatures were rising. They would sweep the land, the good would then return, and battle a fate worse than extinction".
