1. Why do I need to register for an account? And what does it sign me up to?

   You need an account so we have some way of storing your details/your list items. Accounts are free and you're not obliged/tied to anything. You can delete your account at anytime from your Profile Page.

2. How do I know which items can earn me commission, and my guests cashback?

   If you use the search boxes on the site, when you get the results you'll see any cashback and commission amounts on the right hand side under the price of the listed items.

3. Why don't all the items on the site offer cashback?

   Some shops prefer not to offer cashback to shoppers so as to keep their prices consistent across the Internet.

4. What is cashback anyway, and how can you give it, along with commissions, out to us?

   The shops featured on our site have agreed to pay us a percentage commission on any sales we generate for them. So we then pass the bulk share of that commission on to you and your guests!

5. So where's the catch?

   There isn't one.

6. OK, so if there isn't a catch - and it's completely free - what do you get out of it?

   Like you, we make a commission on items you pick from the site. This is in addition to what you see written on the item. If you add something from the web, we don't make a sausage - but we still added that feature on because we think it's really cool!

7. How do I add an item from the web?

   Simply click on the blue 'Add Item from the Web' link from the bottom of your list. Then you'll need to copy and paste the URL (http://www. address from the address bar along the top of your browser/screen - underlined in red on the image below) of the page of the item you want to add. Keep your Pick List page open, and open other websites in another window/tab so you can view both at the same time. The picture below shows how you can do this on Internet Explorer 7 (click where the red arrow is pointing to).

   
   
   

8. I'm trying to add an item from the web but it won't let me/I can't find the pictures.

   Our Item Grabber gathers information from the page it's sent to... if that page won't give our grabber the information it needs then it can't grab it! This can be the case if a website has been built in Flash or frames, so that no matter what page of the site you're on, you still get just the same address in the address bar (eg. you always just have http://www.shop.co.uk rather than http://www.shop.co.uk/page1).

   It can also be the case if the site uses videos or moving images rather than static photos.

   If you have problems try just selecting the home page of the site you're looking at filling in descriptive details about the particular item you want for your guests. If you're still having problem, contact us and we'll do our best to help.

   On the whole, if a shopping website has been built to be found by search engines/indexed by Google, then our Grabber will be able to get the information it needs.
